This high-grade master instrument features double maker inscriptions reading "兼安洞童作" (Kaneyasu Dōdō saku / Made by Kaneyasu Dōdō) and "大日本竹道学館" (Dai Nippon Chikudo Gakkan). Designed with a classical trapezoidal Kinko School mouthpiece inlay (Utaguchi) and fine rattan thread binding (Tō-maki) around the central joint.
